KKE Holdings, Inc. Makes Capital Contribution to NavVis GmbH
Kozo Keikaku Engineering Holdings, Inc. (Head Office: Nakano-ku, Tokyo; Representative Executive Officer: Shota Hattori) has made a capital contribution of €7.5 million to NavVis GmbH (Head Office: Munich, Germany; CEO: Felix Reinshagen; hereinafter “NavVis”).
NavVis is a rapidly growing scaleup leading the digital twin space, born out of a research project at the Technical University of Munich. The company provides high-precision 3D scanning devices to capture on-site data, along with a cloud service that allows users to intuitively interact with the data online. This technology enables the centralized management of information in three-dimensional space and facilitates an immersive, street-view-like understanding of physical sites.
Since 2015, our group has partnered with NavVis for the sale and deployment of its solutions in the Japanese market. We have driven operational efficiencies for clients primarily in the following sectors:
Manufacturing: Digitalization and process improvement of production sites, including automotive factories.
Architecture, Civil Engineering, and Construction: Maintenance of existing structures and streamlining of civil engineering surveying operations.
By combining our group's engineering expertise with NavVis’s advanced technology, we are confident that we can deliver even greater value to a broader range of clients through manufacturing-focused solutions and architectural consulting.
This capital contribution aims to provide continued support to NavVis, a company poised for significant growth, and to further strengthen the partnership between our two companies. Together, we will build a solid foundation in the Japanese market and strive for shared international success.
Our group has previously invested approximately €9 million in December 2018, €2 million in December 2021, and €3 million in 2023. Through this latest contribution, we will further reinforce our collaboration with NavVis and drive the growth of our NavVis business. Furthermore, by providing NavVis with feedback on diverse use cases from Japan, we will contribute to its technological development and global expansion, mutually accelerating our business growth.
